7C do the acid test

The start of a Chemistry topic sees 7C testing a wide variety of substances with indicators to see if they are acids or alkalis.

 They were testing tea

 and coffee

orange juice 

 soap

dettol 

 toothpaste

 and

lots of other house hold items 

they used litmus paper first  

and then universal indicator 

so a camparison could be made between the two  indicators
