Extracting DNA from an onion is not too tricky an experiment and 7N pupils worked in pairs to do this today.
They recorded their activity by taking photos using the iPads
Grinding onion in salt water and filtering the suspension was the first task.
They needed to capture every part of the process
So they can make a cartoon strip of the experiment afterwards.
The last stage required careful pouring.
