Another famous tree

I have moved on from Isaac Newton's home (well done Harry and Emily for working out the correct answer). 
Here is a tree in Norfolk that is in the estate that was owned by the uncle of a figure famous in British history. As a young lad he climbed this tree when he visited his mother's brother at Woodton Park. 
The tree is very old, more than 250 years old. 
Who was this famous boy and what was his finest hour. Prize for the first correct answers.
