What energy changes here?

I visited a small factory in Norfolk where they make DBR Le Mans cars. This is a quite a car as you can see from the photo below. 

While I was whiizzing along the road on a test drive the car was burning petrol, a hydrocarbon. Here are a couple of questions for you. 

What are the energy changes happening while I was driving along?

What are the products from the combustion of the petrol?
