Measuring energy

8G used the spring toys to measure energy this morning.

They found the mass of the spring toys and the height they jumped to.

As it was all rather quick they used the slopro app on the ipads to capture the height it jumped to.

Using this technology made the results far more accurate.

The slopro movie file could then be viewed to see the accurate height.

The gravitational potential energy can then be calculated and the toys compared.
