Year 5 test for glucose

Year 5 have been testing food for glucose in our Science lessons this week. 

First they chose a food sample:

Then they added some Benedict's solution:

We placed the boiling tube into the water bath:

After three minutes we carefully removed them from the hot water:

And looked for any colour change:

We then recorded our results:
